The story of two Doors

Did you know you have a door in your heart? If your hearts door is barely open, He can barely reveal Himself to you; it is like choosing to live in an old black and white movie in which your life is a poor, "dumbed-down" version of all that is He wants to give you.

Song of Songs 5:2-4

“I heard this knock at my hearts door as he pleaded with me. Arise my love – open your heart deeper still to Me……My Beloved reached into me to unlock my heart.”

Jesus never plays “hard to get.” He doesn’t play games at all. He is set on intimacy with us and will go to any lengths (including the cross) to be close to us!

Revelation 3:20

“Look I have been standing at the door and I am constantly knocking. If you hear Me calling, open the door. I will come in and we will share a meal as friends.”

He has taken the initiative. He comes and knocks on our heart’s door. He is waiting for you to invite Him into every part of your life. He is calling your name. Every day you can “eat” with Him and enjoy such sweet intimacy.

But there is another door!

Revelation 4:1

“Then as I looked, I saw a door standing open in Heaven (and Jesus said) “COME UP HERE…….and instantly I was in the Spirit.”

The door of your heart and the door of Heaven are inter-connected in the Spiritual realm.

There is a direct correlation between how wide you open YOUR hearts door to Him and how much He will open HIS door of heavenly revelation to you.

He is saying to you today “My door is always open”. How amazing is that? His “world” is so vibrantly beautiful and incredible and He wants to show you glimpses of it now. One day you are going to live with Him there forever. Didn’t He say to us in

Jeremiah 33:3

“Seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened”

He wants to open up His “world” to you and show you marvellous things, things that will help you in ministry to others, things that will unlock secrets to healing people’s hearts, things that will bring YOU great joy and revelation.

Jesus is inviting you in the Spirit just as He did to John “Come up here.” He has heard your prayers and seen the longings of your heart. This is a royal invitation. His door is always open!

Live in a place of intimate relationship with Him Live in a place of revelation of Him

Have you ever thought of this?

Maybe they aren’t two separate doors after all (one in your heart and one to the heavenly Realms)........…maybe it is one and the same door, interconnecting the two realms. The more I open my heart to Him the more I am inviting His realm of Heaven into my own heart.

Wow what a beautiful incredible thought.

As I open my hearts door to Him, He opens up Heavens door to me Mutual openness………mutual sharing.

He has such a love and a passion for you, He wants to share mysteries and secrets of His Heavenly realm now. You don’t have to wait until you die to have access to Heaven, He longs to give you glimpses of that bliss before you ever make it your eternal home.

If your hearts door is barely open, He can barely reveal Himself to you; it is like choosing to live in an old black and white movie in which your life is a poor, "dumbed-down" version of all that is He wants to give you.

Fling open your heart today and allow the FULL radiance and "technicolour" beauty of His overwhelming Presence into your heart. Never close that door again, leave it wide open, full access from both sides…..…even take the hinges off and remove that door altogether!
