It was only discovered in 1875 that there is one part of you that is completely and unmistakably unique - and that is your fingerprints! Nothing reveals the individual nature of ourselves more than our own fingerprints. But did you know that God has left His fingerprints all over your life too and you will find them if you look for them. He loves you so much!
Fingerprints are what we leave behind when we touch, or are in contact with something. God actually created you and has been watching over you your entire life. We are all so uniquely created by the Master of the Universe. Today you can know that you are treasured, protected and LOVED by Him.
It is all too easy to get so busy and preoccupied in our own lives that we miss seeing the fingerprints of God Himself. Our lives may seem a mess, and we believe God is nowhere to be found. Nonetheless, we catch a glimpse of His presence in a small detail of our lives. This can come in so many different ways. We experience His peace that passes all understanding in an incredibly difficult period in our lives; or He provides our needs in ways we never could have imagined. Maybe He offers a word of encouragement and hope through a friend or stranger; or He speaks to our hearts through a song. His ways and means are limitless! As you go through your days look for the fingerprints of God. I'm sure you will begin to see the evidence of God in your life and in your situations.
When we look at our own lives and the world around us, we find physical evidence of God’s unseen touch, His latent fingerprints. He is the potter and we are His clay. We find the fingerprints of God in our own lives as He molds and shapes us to be more like Him, made in His image.
He does not always work in the way that we think He should or would but how many times have I personally had to thank Him that He did not grant a "yes" to my most passionate request. His way are best and His fingerprints on our lives are just the almost invisible evidence of His Presence, His love and His Fatherly-wise care.
