In my last post entitled "Does God Speak" we thought about how God spoke our beautiful world into existence by the power of His Spoken Word and how He can speak with that same power, creativity and beauty into our personal "world" today if we make the space and time for Him.
To continue that thought a little further Ezekiel 28:13 states that Lucifer (Satan) was in the garden of Eden which means that he witnessed creation in all its technicolour glory. We do not know on which day the angel Lucifer was created but I suspect it was fairly early on in the process of Gods magnificent workmanship. It was only later that he fell from Glory because of his pride and perhaps jealousy at the beautiful relationship Adam, Eve and God shared (See verses 12b - 19)
Satan personally witnessed the power of Gods spoken Word because he was created by it and saw the instant glorious results manifested in all of creation firsthand; this is why he has been trying to discredit Gods handiwork ever since with the lie of evolution.
He knew he couldn’t ever stop God speaking to us but he could try and shut down our receptors, our capacity and desire to hear and receive His Words to us
His lies and deceptions attempt to dilute or disprove what God said then and now!
If he can just make us doubt the creative extraordinary power of Gods Words (and His goodness) then his mission is successful.

We read right back in Genesis 3 at the very instigation of the fall which caused the great rift between man and God that Satan asked
“DID GOD REALLY SAY???”
This has been his battle cry ever since!
Lies versus Truth
Death versus Life
Conflict versus Love
Darkness versus Light
Intimidation versus Revelation
WHOSE WORDS DO YOU WANT TO LISTEN TO?
WHO ARE YOU GOING TO BELIEVE?
Satan’s brutal strategy of undermining what God said to Adam broke communication so early in his personal walk with God in the garden of Eden and billions more throughout the ages! Quite a coup!!
Don’t now let your sin, your laziness or your indifference to His Words ruin your walk with Him too.

Satan knows that Gods Words have His very DNA in them to create life wherever they are spoken.
Satan knows that God makes everything come alive when He speaks because that’s who He is - Creator God
That is why Satan is so “HELL-BENT” on discrediting His Word to us or causing us to doubt that he would ever speak directly to us.
Don’t FALL for that LIE anymore.
